We don’t need to tell you, Dubai brunches are legendary.
Whether it’s lavish buffet spreads at five-star hotels, refined à la carte experiences, or sun-soaked poolside menus, Saturday brunch here is nothing short of a ritual and the city does it better than anywhere else.
With countless hotels, restaurants, and beach clubs competing for your weekends, it pays to know which brunches truly stand out.
Here’s your ultimate guide to the best brunches in Dubai, ready to carry you through the year and beyond.
Here is your definitive brunch list to see you through the year and beyond.
WINNER: Zuma

One of the most popular brunches around, this has both à la carte and buffet aspects to it, and you get to select one of the restaurant’s signature mains, which is brought to your table. It’s a brilliant way to try one of the best Japanese restaurants in Dubai, as there are so many signature dishes to tuck into and a large range of sushi to try.
With a selection of maki, nigiri, sashimi and more, plus robata and tempura, the brunch gets off to a strong start. Choose from dishes including the famous miso black cod, before rounding it all off with dessert. The service is excellent, and the bar makes for a lively post-brunch drink. A stalwart in DIFC and a crowd-pleaser in every way.
Time Out Dubai reviewers say: “Those who have been to Zuma’s brunch at any point in the last 10-plus years know what they’re getting: the chance to try pretty much everything the restaurant does, part buffet, part à la carte.
“It has one of the most expensive house beverage packages, and considering the Dhs100 difference for constantly-poured bubbly, it may be worth investing in the premium option.”

Highly commended: Netsu

This high-end Japanese restaurant comes alive every Saturday afternoon for brunch, a seemingly never-ending delivery of rather brilliant Japanese cuisine.
Each table receives starters to share, including salmon tacos, wagyu beef gyoza and Korean fried chicken, followed by a seasonal sashimi platter, served shrouded in dry ice for a touch of theatre.
Signature maki rolls are made tableside, while each guest can choose one large dish (the grilled giant tiger prawn is impressive), which you can snaffle solo or share with your group. Your feast concludes with a dessert platter, so save space for a mochi or two.
Time Out Dubai reviewers say: “Get into the steak selection for the main event, and don’t skip the buttery grilled corn and wafu-drizzled broccoli – it’s not often you’ll find sides that stand up so well. But before all that, there’s a modest selection of small plates that deserve your attention – including a rich, playful okonomiyako-style prawn toast, hiding under a mound of quivering bonito flakes.”

Traiteur

If you’re after high-quality food and a chic setup with no gimmicks, Traiteur is for you. One of the best buffet brunches in Dubai, Traiteur takes over Brasserie du Park and NOÉPE for a Saturday afternoon extravaganza. The optimum time to visit is in the winter when the terrace is the best place to sit, perched next to the Creek, next to the yachts and with a view of the Dubai skyline.
NOÉPE turns into a massive seafood station with lobster, prawns, sushi, oysters and more, while there’s an excellent barbecue area outside too. Drinks are premium, there’s live music and it’s an elegant place for a celebration. Don’t miss the cheese room either – it’s a real highlight.
Time Out Dubai reviewers say: “We could wax lyrical about the quality and selection of food at this brunch all day, but it’s one to be experienced at least once. Mark the calendar for your next anniversary/parents’ visit/birthday lunch, though really this one needs no excuses to book.”

Shortlisted
Al Qasr Brunch

A Dubai institution, Al Qasr brunch has been through many guises in recent years, but it’s back at its all-time best now. An elegant afternoon out, although it’s still open to families, so you can bring your kids, there are live stations serving a variety of global favourites.
Seasoned brunch-goers know the ultimate stations are the seafood and cheese ones – and you’ll find brilliant offerings of both at Al Qasr. Grills are also a top choice, while there’s also truffle mac and cheese, beef wellington, dim sum, curries, salads and more. Plus, there’s live music, premium drinks and even an after-party if you’re not ready to call the afternoon quits at 4pm.
Time Out Dubai reviewers say: “Service was attentive, friendly and downright impeccable. You couldn’t fault it. From start to finish, Al Qasr brings its A-game, reminding us of the OG. The show-stopper terrace, coupled with the food, service and entertainment, curated a vibe that couldn’t be described as anything other than ‘fabulous’.”

Bubbalicious

One of the biggest and best buffet brunches in Dubai, Bubbalicious is an absolutely massive Saturday afternoon food-filled extravaganza. Sprawling out across three restaurants and a large outdoor terrace, this is one for the Dubai bucket list. Famed for its huge spread of food, it’s excellent quality, especially given its scale.
Time Out Dubai reviewers say: “While the cheese selection is no longer an entire roomful, there’s still enough to keep connoisseurs in wild dreams for a week. Service is superb, particularly in the face of hundreds of diners to keep topped up, entertainment is lively, the vibe is fun and the food is consistently excellent. And that’s really what Bubbalicious is for – impressing guests and Dubai’s newcomers.”

COYA

Renowned for being a lively, yet grown-up, party brunch, this high-end fiesta takes place every Saturday afternoon at popular Peruvian restaurant COYA. An OG when it comes to bringing Peruvian plates to the city, you can enjoy the well-known restaurant’s signature dishes when it comes to brunch in Dubai.
There’s everything from anticuchos to ceviche, clay pots and churros on the menu, so there’s plenty to enjoy while you sway to the beat and soak in the lively vibe. With free-flowing premium drinks and birthday celebrations galore, this is an upbeat brunch for sure.
Time Out Dubai reviewers say: “Our only complaint is that for first-timers (though there’s unlikely to be many of those around after eight years at the top of its game), the menu may be somewhat overwhelming. But that’s a happy problem to have. The more food, the merrier.”

La Cantine du Faubourg

Brunches in Dubai come and go, but none have stood the test of time quite like La Cantine du Faubourg. Yes, it’s had a few different names and themes over the years (remember the elegant pyjama party?), but three very crucial elements have remained.
Excellent food with a wide variety of dishes than most brunches in Dubai, a good quality drinks package that caters to everyone, and an immaculate vibe, whether you’re sitting inside or alfresco, featuring classy live entertainment. And the best part is, it’s available both Saturday and Sunday.
Time Out Dubai reviewers say: “Don’t miss the les coquillettes de mon enfance, which come with a creamy truffley sauce, comté cheese and veal ham. Classy comfort food.”

Mayabay

A previous winner of the best à la carte brunch in Dubai award, Mayabay puts on an outstanding offering every Sunday. With dishes from around Thailand, Japan and beyond, there’s a stunning menu and everything you could possibly want from an Asian brunch in Dubai. From sushi to Thai curries, salads, dim sum, grills and more, it’s all moreish and super-tasty. Plus, there’s loads of it so you’ll be satisfied when you leave.
Nestled in the Turtle Lagoon at Jumeirah Al Naseem, there’s a gorgeous setting, which paired with the delicious dishes, makes for an excellent afternoon. Add in slick service and a cool vibe and you have a top choice right here.
Time Out Dubai reviewers say: “Service is slick, as you’d expect from the guys at Orange Hospitality – operators of Il Borro Tuscan Bistro across the lagoon – and the vibe is sophis, attracting the kind of mature crowd that appreciates fun vibes paired with a glass of something from the finer end of the menu. While it gets livelier in the evening, the dining experience is still at the forefront of Mayabay.”

Mimi Kakushi

Exuding 1920s Osaka vibes, cooler-than-cooler décor and a sophisticated yet lively vibe, brunch at Mimi Kakushi is a must-try. The mixed drinks are expertly crafted and use interesting Asian ingredients (yuzu, lemongrass, etc), while the service is some of the best around.
When it comes to dishes, the food lives up to the expectations and includes beef tataki, prawn and black cod gyoza, Angus tenderloin, black cod and tiger prawns – meaning you’re getting some top-quality ingredients for a brunch package. One of the best à la carte brunches in Dubai and one of the chicest, too.
Time Out Dubai reviewers say: “Old-school glamour, James Bond-esque vibes, 1920s Osaka-chic. The first thing that hits you about Mimi Kakushi is how cool it is. And we mean actually cool. Not try-your-hardest kind of cool. Effortless glam and utterly retro-gorgeous.”

ROKA

For an exceptional Saturday family brunch in Dubai, head to Roka for a buffet spread featuring a variety of starters, soups, makis, nigiris and robata selections.
Signature mains are served at the table, with an option to upgrade to “premium robata” for an additional amount, offering dishes like black cod marinated in yuzu miso and beef fillet in chilli, ginger, and spring onion.
While parents can enjoy the brunch, children are entertained in a dedicated space filled with games, toys, colouring activities and entertainers.
Time Out Dubai reviewers say: “A modestly sized space, with an equally proportioned terrace featuring views of Business Bay and the loftiest pinnacles of Downtown, ROKA feels every inch the modern Japanese restaurant. All warm wood, cool stone and clean lines. A smart bar lines one side, a raw food preparation counter occupies the other.”

We wouldn’t call La Mezcaleria a particularly culinary-focused destination.

The Roast at Bubbalicious

One of the best family brunches in Dubai, this one takes place on a Sunday at Mina’s Kitchen at The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi. A smaller version of the famed Bubbalicious brunch, The Roast, as the name suggests, focuses on serving a slap-up Sunday roast dinner. Dig into a range of meats, fluffy Yorkshires and crispy potatoes.
There’s also a salad bar, seafood station, curries, mezze and a selection of pies to accompany mash and gravy. When it comes to desserts, you’re in for a real treat, too. The entertainment is great – expect live music, a magician, juggler, face painter, arts and crafts and more, all leading to a top-notch family afternoon to round off your weekend in the best of ways.
Time Out Dubai reviewers say: “Bubbalicious’ The Roast is by no means on the same scale as its Saturday brunch, but that’s not what you’re here for, and for those who don’t love a massive event, it’s on a more manageable scale. You’re here for top-quality food and time spent with family, and it delivers.”

Golden Ticket Brunch

Inspired by the king of candy Willy Wonka, this family-friendly brunch at Flow Kitchen features buffet stations dedicated to every part of chocolate-loving Charlie Bucket’s journey. It’s super fun, with foie gras Snickers, violet gnocchi and purple potato mash among the more classic brunch options of salads, mezze and seafood.
The dessert section is suitably over-the-top, with chocolate fountains and towering pancake stacks. Plenty of candy-themed decorations and interactive performances complete the whimsy.
Time Out Dubai reviewers say: “Aside from the plethora of treats, the food on the whole is of decent quality. Salmon en croute, roast beef, pasta, curry etc – all the usual suspects are there. The sushi station and raw bar is a highlight, as is the cheese table (it’s tucked away, so don’t miss it).”

The buffet is decent, especially the desserts, while there’s a special kids’ buffet too.
Belle from Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella will impress kids with songs and stories, plus there’s an outdoor area with a bouncy castle, ping pong and more. Not enough? Bring your swimwear as pool access is included, too.
